■ HOSTS Ashford left it late to come back from two goals down with half an hour remaining in a pulsating affair at The Homelands.
Croydon struck early when Kadell Daniel smartly slotted home after just three minutes. The Rams doubled their lead on the hour mark when Harvey Kedwell’s cross was well finished by Reece Grant from close range.
But Ashford found another gear in the final period, scoring two minutes later through Will Moses tapping home after a spilt shot.
