■ EXMOUTH Town fell short in an uninspiring performance at home to a well-drilled Hartpury University side.
The first half came and went without much incident with the visitors coming closest after 30 minutes, Billy Osborne’s open-goal header hit the post after a defensive mix-up at the back almost cost the hosts.
The visitors took control of the match in the second half, and deservedly went ahead in the 51st minute when Nathan Jenkins drilled home from the edge of the area after a Hartbury corner was headed off the line.
