■ PORTISHEAD Town lost pace with runaway league leaders Frome as they fired a blank at Willand.
They could have gone ahead after 14 minutes when Jay Murray saw his effort cleared off the line after some excellent work by Jack Thorne. They then reversed the roles after 21 minutes as Murray’s cross was headed  just over the bar by Thorne.
At the other end, Willand started to get into the game, but couldn’t force anything meaningful on Ryan Thacker’s goal.
