■ MARGATE got a well deserved win at a wet Hartsdown Park.
Sheppey thought they had scored in the second minute, but there was a clear handball in the build up. They had their on-loan debutant, Fulham Under-21 keeper Dino Kaiser, to thank making two crucial saves in the first 20 minutes. Gate then started to control things and took the lead in 40th minute when the impressive Sam Blackman headed home from a Ben Greenhalgh corner.
Gate doubled their lead after 63 minutes when Greenhalgh fired a great shot home.
