■ BINFIELD moved level on points with Southall in the fight to avoid relegation after a home win over Hendon – who themselves will be looking over their shoulders.
It was Hendon who had the first real opportunity, but Niko Muir fired just wide.
The hosts restricted Hendon to efforts from distance, and went close themselves when Joshua Mcmenemy headed just wide.
Binfield broke the deadlock from the spot seven minutes before the break when Lami Ceesay converted from 12 yards.
