■ FAREHAM Town’s relegation fate was sealed as was
confirmed with a home defeat at teh hands of Hayes & Yeading.
The visitors took the lead in the first minute. Brendan Matthew headed the bouncing ball into the top corner.
Fareham had a chance to level before the break after Charlie Cooper latched onto Rhys Forster’s poor clearance, but the striker’s effort hit the keeper.
