■ BIGGLESWADE FC produced a clinical first-half display to beat MK Irish.
The opening 20 minutes were scrappy, with both sides creating half-chances before Lawrie Marsh broke the deadlock after 21 minutes.
MK Irish responded immediately, levelling through an own goal, but FC regained control four minutes later. A direct pass from Michael Simpson found Alex Marsh, whose chip released Rio Martucci to lob the goalkeeper.
Alex Marsh then made it 3-1, converting another dangerous cross, before Lawrie Marsh grabbed his second.
