A Harvey Smith penalty in the sixth minute proved to be the winner in as Sittingbourne remain unbeaten in the league.
Despite going a goal down, Punjab looked the much better side with just before half-time. Jack Hopkins was two yards out, but a great point-blank save from Bourne keeper Jamie Grossart kept it out.
The second half saw Punjab again with most of the chances from long throws, set pieces, and crosses, but it would just not fall for the Jabs, who had multiple shots blocked, even by their own players.
