SAMMIE McLeod’s 91stminute winner earned Maldon their first win of the season against Brentwood Town.
The visitors had a slight edge for most of the first half although Shane Cojocarel had the best chance for the Jammers, and Blues keeper Rob Budd had to be quick off his line to save.
Maldon’s Jack Cawley cleared an Alfie Hilton volley off the line midway through the second half and Tobi Joseph twice went close to putting the Blues in front.
