Quintet in bid to step up to South West Peninsula League

Five more teams have applied to join the South West Peninsula League for next season.

FIVE more teams have applied to join the South West Peninsula League for next season.

Devon League outfits Okehampton Argyle, Ottery St Mary and University of Exeter plus Bude Town from the St Piran League want to make the leap up to Step 6, while Truro City have applied to enter a reserve side.

In addition, applications from Devon League sides Newtown, Braunton and Teignmouth, along with Hayle and Penryn Athletic from the St Piran’s League, rolled over from last season, will also be considered.

All applicants must obtain an H grading by March 31 to be considered.
