YAXLEY earned their first home league victory of the season after a close contest with Didcot Town.
Both teams struggled to find their rhythm early on, but just as Didcot started to get a foothold in the game Yaxley punished them with a swift breakaway finished well by Jordan MacLeod.
In a game of few chances the second goal was always going to be crucial. Despite Didcot trying to force the issue, it was the Cuckoos who scored a second when Charlie Sanders produced a decent finish to put Yaxley in control.
