■HEBBURN TOWN closed the gap on leaders North Shields with a 9-0 romp against Penrith. Graeme Armstrong scored a hat-trick and loanee Lee Mason a brace for the Hornets.
North Shields had Anthony Myers sent off late on in a 2-0 defeat at West Auckland.
Billingham Town picked up their first points of the season with a 5-4 win over Sunderland RCA. Alex Bruton scored a hat-trick for Billingham, three of RCA’s goals coming late in the game.
