ROB DOCKS IN TO CLAIM PROMOTION

FORMER Stotfold and Lang-ford manager Rob Bates has been handed the hot seat at Spartan South Midlands Premier Division side Baldock Town.
The UEFA qualified coach, who was once on Colchester United’s books, was assistant to previous boss Adam Fisher last season.
Bates has brought back two old faces to the club as part of his management team. Former goalkeeping coach Ercan Mehmet, who left for Welwyn Garden City last season, has returned and will be Bates’ assistant.
