WALSALL Wood are back on the football pyramid – starting back at Step 8.
The West Midlands club were forced to resign from the Northern Premier League last October due to a lack of cash and communication with owner Justin Hodgin.
Wood were sat in a healthy tenth position in NPL Midlands at the time – their second season playing at Step 4 having won the Midland Premier title in 2022-23.
Now the club have been given the green light to play first-team football again, in the Midland League Division Three.
