STOWMARKET Town have launched a ‘One Pint Challenge’ in a bid to keep the Eastern Counties Premier club afloat in the face of “significant and unsustainable” debts.
New club chairman Jeff Letter has identified substantial opportunities for growth and improvement, which will be crucial in securing the club’s future. A GoFundMe appeal has been launched in which supporters of The Old Gold & Blacks are invited to donate the price of a pint of beer. So far, nearly £5000 has been raised towards a target of £18,000.
