LITHERLAND REMYCA manager Steve Scott believes his side deserve another shot at Step 5 football – after receiving a late reprieve to continue playing in the newly streamlined North West Counties Premier Division, writes Steven Oldham.
The Sefton-based club were saved following Pilkington’s resignation from the competition after the FA’s league allocations were set. REMY’s reprieve is also good news for Step 6 side Maine Road, who will now avoid relegation to the feeder leagues despite finishing bottom of the First Division North.
