BOROUGH BOW OUT IN MASS WALKOUT

HAVERHILL Borough have been forced to withdraw from the Eastern Counties Division One North – leading to a late reprieve from relegation for Wivenhoe Town.

It came after manager Harry Zachariou stepped down after two years in charge to take over at Premier Division side Lakenheath, having led the club to a seventh-placed finish last season.
The West Suffolk club were formed in 2011 at Haverhill Sports Association and share the New Croft sports ground with Haverhill Rovers.
