Bridging the gap in an exciting new merger

BRIDGWATER United will be a new name in the Pyramid next season.
Western Premier outfit Bridgwater Town have merged with Women’s Southern Premier Division side Yeovil United to create the new club.
Adam Murry, who rescued United’s former incarnation as Yeovil Town Ladies from financial collapse two years ago, later became Town’s new chief executive.
He said: “This exciting announcement is only just the beginning for Bridgwater United FC supporters and, indeed the town as a whole, can expect further organisational developments in the coming weeks.
