FORMER Wrexham and Kidderminster Harriers winger Adrian Cieslewicz has joined Welsh Premier champions The New Saints ahead of the new season.

The Polish born flyer, nicknamed ‘Ciss’, had a trial with Oldham Athletic earlier this summer after ending last season at Kidderminster after leaving Wrexham, where he spent four years.

The 24-year-old had recently been playing for Faroe Islands side B36 Torshavn but has returned to Britain with The New Saints and started Wednesday night’s friendly against Birmingham City.

“The team I was playing for in the Faroe Island went to play Linfield in Belfast and TNS were also staying there,” said Cieslewicz.

“I had a chat with the manager (Craig Harrison) then and it seemed quite promising so we kept in touch and it went from there.

“The facilities here at the club are great. The manager and the lads have been really good to me and I feel fit and sharp.”
