WREXHAM had two players in Sunday’s NLP Team of the Day after the Dragons picked up a much needed win against Lincoln City.
Gary Mill’s side won 3-1 at the Racecourse to halt a run of four National League defeats in a row. Keeper Rhys Taylor and defender Jamal Fyfield made it into our starting XI.
Tranmere Rovers’ Lee Vaughan – who scored the winner at Bromley – and Woking’s Joey Jones partner Fyfield in our back three.
Dan Walker, Danny Boshell, Luke George, Sam Wedgbury and Andy Monkhouse were included in our five man midfield.
And our strikeforce consisted of Omar Bogle – who scored in Grimsby’s 5-0 rout of Altrincham – and Gateshead’s Danny Johnson.
