KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS’ new general manager Jon Harris says he’s confident he can play a part in getting the club back into the Football League.

Harris, who has held similar position with a number of clubs, including Wrexham and Macclesfield Town, will assist the Harriers board of directors and handle all administration regarding the club’s first team.

Kiddy finished as runners up in the Conference Premier last season before losing out to Grimsby Town in the play-off semi-finals.

It was their eighth season playing Non-League football following relegation in 2004/05 but Harris feels his appointment can help them secure Football League status once more.

Speaking to the club’s website, Harris said: “I am delighted to have joined Kidderminster Harriers ahead of the new season.

“The Football Club are clearly aiming to get back into the Football League, having missed out so narrowly last season.
“I am confident that I can play a part in helping the club secure this goal.”
