Dorset Premier League Round Up December 29

Dorset Premier League

The only League game to survive the adverse weather conditions was at where the conditions were first class.

United took advantage to move into pole position when they repeated their League Cup Success over their visitors Parley Sports, beating them 4-1.

This was the Islanders ninth League and League Cup match without defeat and they move two points clear at the top of the table with two games in hand of second place Holt United.

Portland had a 3-0 lead at the break with their strikes coming from Lewis Whyton, Carl Mutch and an own goal from Dan Stone.

In the second period Parley Sports reduced the arrears with a goal from Kane Andrews before Carl Mutch added his second and Portland’s fourth to give his side their thirteenth League win.
