THE Northern Counties East League has secured a three-year sponsorship deal with building accessories supplier Toolstation.
Toolstation already have strong ties to the Non-League game, having spent the past eight years at title sponsors of the Western League.
They will continue as sponsors of that league and it was Western League secretary Ken Clarke who introduced Toolstation to the NCEL.
Speaking about the deal, NCEL chairman David Morrall said: “The League is delighted to have secured this sponsorship arrangement with a high profile company which recognises the importance of local community involvement.
“Toolstation's head of marketing, John Meaden, added: “It was clear to us that the Northern Counties East is a very well run league and has great local support so we are honoured to be able to assist and extend our support of grass roots football in the UK.”
