Harrogate Town marked their return to the National League with a five-goal display against Solihull Moors.
A volley from debutant Archie Baptiste and a deflected Bryn Morris finish had given Town control over the contest on the hour mark.
However, two Solihull set-piece goals left the two sides level going into the final ten minutes.
Another debutant would sway the contest back in the home side’s favour though as substitute Ciaran McGuckin’s brace was added to late on by Rohan Vaughan, sealing the opening-day win for Simon Weaver’s side.
