FORMER Republic of Ireland Under-21 midfielder Josh O’Keefe has joined Hereford United.
The 23-year-old started out as a trainee with Blackburn Rovers but left Ewood Park in 2009 without making a first-team appearance.
He subsequently signed for Walsall, remaining with the Saddlers for one season before moving to Lincoln City.
O’Keefe, who was relegated with the Imps in 2010/11, featured 10 times for them last term prior to his departure by mutual consent in December 2011.
He linked up with Southport in March this year and represented the Sandgrounders seven times in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
