JASON MAGUIRE will go it alone as manager of Evo-Stik NPL Division One South club Loughborough Dynamo after joint-boss Lee Morris stepped down.

Morris, a former Derby County striker who cost them £3m, left the club on Sunday to concentrate on his coaching career with the Rams.

The pair took the reins at the Nanpantan Sports Ground after Tommy Brookbanks’ departure last October and Maguire will be hoping for improved form with Dynamo 18th in the league.

Dynamo chairman Frank Fall said: “Following a recent upgrade in his position at Derby County, joint-manager Lee Morris feels that he will be unable to give the commitment and time to Loughborough Dynamo and has therefore resigned.

“Joint-manager Jason Maguire remains at Loughborough Dynamo, together with all the backroom staff, for the foreseeable future.”
