SINCE when did Wrexham bring Lionel Messi to north Wales? That’s the question many have been asking after Dominic Vose’s wonderful goal against Gateshead on Saturday.
The impressive winger has been a key part of Gary Mills’ side since his move from Welling United in the summer.
And he showed how much talent he has, scoring a mesmerising solo goal as the Dragons blew Gateshead away 4-0 at the Racecourse.
Picking the ball up from a short free kick around 40 yards from goal, the 21-year-old beat five Heed players before firing a low shot past Sam Russell.
Thankfully the goal was captured on video with Wrexham claiming it could be the best goal in the club’s 151 year history. Decide for yourself below!
