Fantasy Non-League Update January 17

WELCOME to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2015-16. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 3rd January 2016 through to Saturday 9th January 2016.

I am pleased to announce that all your changes have been implicated. You can tell that your changes have been made because you will have [S] after your team name. If you don’t have this after your team name and you have sent them in, please get in contact with the FNL Helpdesk.

Last week we named our latest Manager of the Month winner. The month of December came to an end and the team called 2 Under Par won the £100.

There was something quite special about this winner and that was the position they held in the main FNL table. This team was sat in 1,038th last week and that goes to show that anyone can during the season win some cash. I have no doubt that changing how the Manager of the Month is calculated has made this happen.

I am sure you will remember that this season it is only the actual month results that count and the monthly league bonuses only count towards your main FNL score. So who knows this month it could be you that picks up some money. This is one of the reasons why it is worth making those substitutions.

The other thing that was bizarre about December 2015 was some of the team totals. For example, in November 2015 Concord Rangers scored 110pts. In December 2015 they scored a big fat zero. Southport 26pts in November/122pts in December. Dartford just 3pts in November and 100pts in December and finally Enfield Town 8pts in November and a whooping 149pts in December.

At the end of this month, beginning of the next I will be running my first substitution comparison article. This is where you can see how you would have been doing if you hadn’t made those changes. Already we are seeing some of the teams you have all removed starting to score points and turn things around.
