Fantasy Non-League Update March 27

TODAY’S update covers the seven-day period between Sunday 13th March 2016 through to Saturday 19th March 2016.

It is hard to believe but we are fast approaching the end of another FNL season. We have about seven weeks to go. So it’s time to give you some details on how this season’s competition will come to an end.

This season’s Fantasy Non-League will finish on Sunday 22nd May 2016 after the final whistle of the FA Trophy final between FC Halifax and Grimsby Town.

Between the end of the league season and the finals we do of course have the play-offs. Now there has been a change in the rules and this is very important.

I did originally decide that the play-offs would not incur any points apart from the play-off winner getting 50pts. But I have had a rethink which I did mention before the turn of the year. So now all the play-off games will receive points for the actual games.

Please also remember that points awarded for winning any of the cup finals will be awarded at the end of the season.

So as we are talking about the end of the season how is the main FNL table shaping up? Still leading the way is Pargyle who has so far this season scored 18,414pts. They are 97pts ahead of second placed The Best Team and 244pts ahead of third placed Meat Fan City 2. The top ten is covered by 355pts.

At the bottom the race for the £100 wooden spoon is certainly hoting up. Currently sitting at the bottom is DeeJay Losers with 7,146pts. They are only 4pts adrift from their nearest rival M W Flops. The bottom five is covered by 112pts.
