DANNY COWLEY was named our Top Boss on Saturday after his Lincoln City side ensured they would be top of the National League for Christmas.

The Imps beat promotion rivals Tranmere Rovers 2-1 and midfielder Alex Woodyard also earned a spot in our team with an all action display.

Joining Woodyard in our midfield four were Chester’s Ryan Lloyd, Sutton United veteran Nicky Bailey and Bromley match winner Blair Turgott.

Kyle Wootton scored his first North Ferriby goal in their win at Maidstone and he was put in our front three alongside Solihull Moors’ Omari Sterling-James, who netted twice, and Southport’s Jamie Allen.

Danny Lowe of Guiseley and Torquay’s Ben Gerring helped their sides to clean sheets and they were picked to marshal our defence with Ethan Pinnock of Forest Green. Magnus Norman was handed our number one jersey after his Southport team saw off Eastleigh.
