Fantasy Non-League update – 16th December 2017

Welcome to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2017/18. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 10th December 2017 through to Saturday 16th December 2017.
So how are things shaping up in the main FNL table as we approach what is the halfway stage of this season’s competition. Of course, the halfway stage also means the chance to make your substitutions. Just one change could make all the difference for the teams at both the top and the bottom of the table.
Leading the way in first place is still ShipsUpStreets with 12,010pts, they are 312pts ahead of second placed Yellow & Blue and 334pts ahead of third placed Rock Rangers. The top ten is covered by 506pts which is in fact quite a large amount. But between second and tenth the gap points wise is only 194pts. The problem for the chasing pack is that even when our leader has a bad week like he has this week where he only scored 189pts none of the other top 10 teams made up much ground which shows that more than likely most of the ten 10 have the same teams in their set up apart from one or two here and there. Even the team in second place Yellow & Blue failed to make up ground as their weekly score was the same as our leader 189pts.
So, what about the bottom of the table where of course we also have cash up for grabs. JoTown FC are still in bottom spot with 2,890pts and they are 79pts adrift from Spraint FC. The bottom 10 is covered by 223pts so even at the bottom things are still open so a sub here and there could make a real difference.
In next week’s update we will take a quick look at who is in the running for the December 2017 Manager of the Month and also give you your final look at the details for making those oh so important substitutions.
