Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard has made Blair Turgott’s stay permanent after impressing on loan from Stevenage.
The 23-year-old has played 11 times since joining in September, scoring three goals, including the equaliser in Wood’s FA Cup upset against Blackpool.
He told the club’s website: “I am happy to get it over the line.
“There was a lot of conversation between the two teams when I did initially come back off loan, but I am just thankful and grateful that I am back and I want to keep the ball rolling.
“When I came back off loan, I spoke with Stevenage to find out their plans for me going forward, and I spoke to the Manager here Luke Garrard, and he said that if he could keep me permanently, then he wanted to.”
Turgott began his career at West Ham’s academy and made his debut for the club in January 2014, against Nottingham Forest.
After impressing at Bromley last season, Turgott earned a move to Stevenage before signing on loan with Boreham.
He has represented England up to Under 19 level and appeared for England C.
