Sutton United sign Wigan Athletic defender Terell Thomas on loan

The 22-year-old has had previous National League experience with Woking.

Sutton United have bolstered their squad ahead of today’s top of the table clash at Macclesfield Town with the loan signing of Wigan Athletic centre-back Terell Thomas.
The 22-year-old joins the U’s on an initial one-month loan, having impressed for their National League rivals Woking last season.
Thomas made over 40 appearances at the Cards from Charlton Athletic over two spells from 2015.
His good form led to Wigan signing him on a one-year deal in June but the London-born defender has only played three times for the League One leaders which has led to him heading back on loan in the National League.
