Ahead of the new Northern Premier Division One East season, Tadcaster Albion have received a boost with the news that midfielder Chris Howarth has committed his future to the club.
Howarth was a stand out performer in the Tadcaster midfielder, featuring 45 times as the Albion finished up in 7th position in the Northern Premier Division One North table.
The former Farsley Celtic man pitched in with two goals and three assists last year,
Speaking to Tadcaster’s official club website , Howarth said, “It didn’t really feel like last season was my first year at Tadcaster.
“I was always made welcome by the fans, management and the players that Mikey & Si brought in. I felt as though it was always going to be work in progress having changed management and bringing in more or less a completely new squad. However I knew I could add something with my experience and versatility as a player.”
“It’s is a tough league and you haven’t got much time to make many mistakes but I always had confidence that we would get things right with the right people around. Building on last season we can only improve, with having a full season together and adding further quality to the squad it’s an exciting time to see what this season brings.”
