Fantasy Non-League Update – September 29, 2018

Welcome to the latest update of a new season of Fantasy Non-League. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 23rd
September 2018 through to Saturday 29th September 2018.
Last Sunday was of course the final day of September 2018 and that means we will be announcing our first winners of this season with the August/September 2018 Manager of the Month.
So, with just one day to go who is the running for the first prizes of the FNL 2018/19 Season. Leading the way at the moment is Marine Life, he has 4,525pts and is 81pts ahead of seconded placed Stur Utd and 132pts ahead of third placed Passingford Bridge.
The top ten is covered by 216pts. Of course, there are some bonuses to be added to the Manager of the Month scores after midnight on Sunday 30th September 2018. These bonuses are for the top and bottom clubs during the period August/September 2018 based on results for those two months only.
Remember both months will count as one and these bonuses are only added to the monthly scores not the main season
scores. Monthly League Leaders and Bottom Club bonuses only count to the main FNL score not the Manager of the Month.

When people contact me via the FNL Helpdesk it is quite surprising to hear the disappointment in their voices when I tell them that their team is in 1,378th place. I then tell them not to panic because last season we had a Manager of the Month winner who was way down the main table in 1,000 and something place. So not all is lost! I have also been asked already this season, when can we make subs? Not yet is my answer!
