Gary Meakin’s Beaconsfield Town side will enjoy a day to remember on December 15th as his Southern League Premier South side travel to National League leaders Leyton Orient.
The Rams, who won promotion last year, have had a great start to the season and are currently sitting just outside the play-off positions and progressed into the next round of the FA Trophy with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Leiston at the weekend.
Elsewhere, Step 4 side Bedford Town have been handed a giant killing opportunity by being drawn away to National League strugglers Aldershot Town.
Bedford, who play in Southern League Division One Central, pulled off a surprise in the previous round by knocking out Bostik Premier high-flyers Worthing.
Meanwhile, Steve Claridge’s Salisbury are currently laying the foundations for a promotion push in Step 3 and may well fancy their chances against National League basement dwellers Braintree Town.
