The Non-League Paper is delighted to announce a new partnership with video production and broadcasting company Back Of The Net.
Established in July 2015, Back Of The Net started broadcasting from a community radio station in Surrey and soon became an integral part of the Bostik Leagues, signing a contract to produce ‘The Bostik League Show’ for the 2017/18 season.
April’s play-off final between Dulwich Hamlet and Hendon saw over 25,000 people listen and watch through a number of platforms, and was the culmination of a season-long project to give non-league football its very own highlights show.
This season, BOTN have launched a new TV show called ‘The Non-League Debate’, which broadcasts on Thursday evenings at 7pm via the Back Of The Net YouTube channel, and tackles issues across the Non-League game.
The NLP’s editor, Alex Narey, commented: “Having seen the quality of content created by Back Of The Net, The Non-league Paper is keen to work closely with the guys as we look to get the best out of our print and digital platforms.
“We’ll be sharing content on a weekly basis with the team and will also be looking to do bespoke features throughout 2019 – a year that sees the paper bring up its 1000th issue. We are really looking forward to working with Back Of The Net.”
Ben Eltham, Back Of The Net’s Managing Director, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that we will be working closely with The Non-League Paper. They have established themselves as the most prominent media figure in the Non-League game and share our vision to give Non-League football the coverage it deserves.
“We have a number of exciting projects planned, and working with the team at the Non-League Paper in 2019 promises to be a very special year for the coverage of the game.”
Further announcements are expected in the near future, and Eltham is confident fans won’t be disappointed: “We have had a fantastic 2018, with over a quarter of a million people tuning into our YouTube channel to watch the coverage of Bostik Football and the Non-League Debate.
“We’ve naturally had a lot of enquiries about our next highlights show, and all I can say is we are working on a couple of incredibly exciting new projects, which we hope to be able to announce soon. We will continue to endeavour to bring non-leagues coverage as close as we can to matching that of the football league.”
