Ethan Ross joins Maidstone on loan

The shot stopper moved to Colchester from Championship side West Brom over the summer.

Ethan Ross

Following the news that Ross Warner would be returning to Sutton United, Madistone have moved quickly to bring in a new goalkeeper by signing Ethan Ross on a one month loan deal from Colchester United.
Ross has been at Colchester since joining the Essex club from West Brom over the close season this summer.
During his time with West Brom, the shot stopper enjoyed loan spells in Non-League with the likes of Worcester City and Reddich United.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Maidstone’s joint caretaker boss Tristan Lewis said, “After receiving the call from Sutton yesterday, we have had to move very quickly to secure a goalkeeper ahead of travelling to Hartlepool this morning.
“Myself, Simon and Bill Williams thank everybody at Colchester for helping us bring Ethan into the club at such short notice.”
Ross is expected to go straight into Maidstone’s squad for tomorrow’s game at Hartlepool.
