Elliott delighted as Boston return to winning ways

The Pilgrims secured an impressive 2-1 win at Kidderminster over the weekend.

Elliott delighted

Boston United boss Craig Elliott has praised his players after they secured a battling 2-1 win at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.
The Pilgrims came away from Aggborough with all three points thanks to an early Max Wright strike and a well taken Ben Davies penalty just before half time.
The result lifted Boston up to 12th in the National League North table, just five adrift of the play-offs.
After the full time whistle,  Elliott told the Boston Standard, ““It was all about the players today to show that courage and resilience.
“We knew we’d have to defend today, but I’m proud of them all, they all put a shift in.
“We deserved the win. I’m especially pleased for Max and a goal gets him going in the right direction.”
The result was Boston’s first win in their last five games across all competitions.
