Workington Bring In Tranmere Rovers Youngster Will Vaulks On Loan

WORKINGTON have secured the services of Tranmere Rovers defender Will Vaulks on a one-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old put pen-to-paper on his first pro deal with Rovers earlier this summer and has now been sent to Borough Park to get some first-team experience under his belt.

Speaking about the move, Rovers boss Ronnie Moore told the club’s website: “This is a good chance for Will to play some regular first team football.

“He spent time at Cammell Laird last season and this is another step up for him.
“Hopefully he will make the most of his time at Workington and come back to us with a few games under his belt and more experience of competitive football.”
Workington kicked off their Blue Square Bet North campaign with a comfortable 4-1 win at home to Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday.
