YOU’D BE STUPID TO MAKE AN ENEMY OF A REF

REFEREES have been receiving a lot of unwanted press lately. Why? Because every time they make a decision they make a lot of people happy and a lot angry.
A referee is never going to be everyone’s best friend, but I feel we need to appreciate them more than we do.
I’m always the first to congratulate the officials on a good game – no matter the result. With the rotation system used within our league you would be stupid to find yourself an enemy with any of the officials as sooner rather than later you’ll be seeing them again.
