OMER RIZA has signed for Step 5 Newmarket Town at the age of 38. The former Arsenal attacker was in charge of Leyton Orient last season, but was unable to save them from relegation.
Riza, who was also player-manager at Cheshunt and assistant boss at Heybridge Swifts, has not played for a senior club for three years.
But the Thurlow Nunn Premier side believe that he can boost their promotion hopes.
Riza began his career with the Gunners, playing one first team game for them, and later was on Shrewsbury Town and Cambridge United’s books.
