ANDY PUGH’S brace helped Dartford overcome bottom club Whitehawk at Princes Park.
The Hawks started well, attacking confidently in an entertaining first half, with Gold Omotayo’s shot leaving keeper Deren Ibrahim stranded but it cannoned off the underside of the bar on 22 minutes.
Darts broke through on the cusp of half-time when Ronnie Vint rifled home after the visitors failed to clear a set piece.
The league leaders almost doubled their lead when Ryan Hayes’ free-kick forced Whitehawk stopper Dan Wilks into an outstanding save.
