JAMES ARMSON’S late strike rescued a point for Brackley from a competitive clash with Tamworth.
Callum Powell’s firsthalf goal looked like handing the Lambs all three points before Armson got on the end of an 83rd-minute scramble to level. Aaron Williams and Armson saw efforts saved by debutant Tamworth keeper Jack Stevens as the visitors started well.
Lee Ndlovu was also denied by Stevens, who is on loan from Oxford United, and the rebound fell to Armson, whose rising effort was deflected against the bar.
