BLYTH SPARTANSwere unable to cause an upset at Leyton Orient, but they left boss Alun Armstrong proud come the full time whistle.
Jamie Turley scored the only goal of the game in the 84th minute at a freezing Breyer Group Stadium and it sent the O’s into the quarterfinals.
A replay seemed on the cards for a long time in E10 and it might have happened had Dean Brill not denied Robert Dale in the 89th minute before Turley blocked Adam Wrightson’s follow up effort.
