ALTRINCHAM fired in seven goals to inflict Alfreton with their worst-ever home defeat in this six-pointer in the battle for play-off places.
The Reds had the first, and their only chance, of the game when Josh Clackstone hit a loose ball goalwards, but Alty keeper Tony Thompson was equal to it.
But once Yusifu Ceesay opened the scoring in the eighth minute, the Robins never looked back.
