PONTEFRACT Collieries won the match of the day in the East Division against third-placed Brighouse but suffered a season-ending blow to the division’s leading goalscorer Eli Hey.
Following Gavin Rothery putting his side ahead in the seventh minute, Hey continued the pressure inside 90 seconds as he fed a great ball to Mickey Dunn, whose effort flew just wide.
