BRACKLEY GET THE BOOT AS WINNERS

HIGH-riding National League North side Brackley Town have been booted out of their local county cup – less than a fortnight after winning it.
Brackley beat Southern League Premier outfit AFC Rushden & Diamonds 4-2 on penalties after a goalless draw in the Northamptonshire FA Hillier Senior Cup final at Sixfields on April 2.
But it was subsequently found that Brackley fielded two ineligible players.
