LATE GOALS SNATCH FIRST QUAKERS WIN ON THE ROAD

A DRAMATIC finish saw Darlington secure their first away win in the league, the Quakers scoring twice in the closing stages to secure a 2-1 victory and end Alfreton’s unbeaten home record.
It had looked like holding as they took just three minutes to open the scoring, Conor Branson heading home ma right-wing cross from Josh Clackstone.
The goal gave the Derbyshire club a platform to control much of the first half with their high balls causing problems for a Darlington side fielding debutant Alex Storey in the centre of defence.
