HARTLEPOOL UNITED found the perfect place to train before their clash with Exeter City – an indoor bowling green – and keeper Ben Killip says it was ideal light-hearted pre-match prep ahead of the FA Cup second round showdown.
It certainly did the trip as Dave Challinor’s Pools came from two goals down to salvage a draw and bring the Grecians back to the north east for Tuesday’s replay.
